Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Certified Level II in applicable NDT methods.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and operate NDT equipment.
• Experience with report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Develop examination techniques while following safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
