Job summary

International Inspection Inc. seeks a Level II NDT Inspector for Alameda, CA. You will perform UT, MT, PT and VT inspections at client sites, manage equipment, and prepare reports with CAD drawings. The role requires knowledge of marine vessel NDT and the ability to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, documented NDT training, valid driver’s license, and US work authorization. TWIC/DBIDS credentials or ability to obtain them are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and related certifications.
• Documented NDT classroom training and method experience hours.
• Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• TWIC and/or DBIDS credentials or ability to obtain them.
• Experience and proficiency with UT, MT, PT or VT NDT methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing and examination at client sites.
• Manage equipment and materials necessary for the completion of inspection.
• Compile client reports including drawings using CAD and word processors.
• Work with clients to locate and identify indications and their probable causes.
• General shop-assistant duties to keep the NDT shop in working order.
