A marine surface preparation contractor is seeking an NDT Inspector Level II in San Diego, CA. The role includes performing VT, MT, and PT inspections on surface ships and submarines. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and must be qualified as an NDT Inspector Level II. Prior experience with various welding techniques is preferred. Qualifications

• Qualified NDT VT, MT, and PT Inspector Level II IAW NAVSEA requirements.
• Experience with SMAW, GTAW and GMAW welding highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and quality manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inspections of completed welds and materials.
• Work to approved company inspection procedures.
• Provide on the job training for trainees.

Skills

Qualified NDT VT, MT, and PT Inspector Level II
