Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking an NDT Level 2 Inspector (2nd Shift) to join our Manufacturing department.

The role covers a broad range of NDT inspections (ET/UT/PT) across A220 and A320 programs, with responsibilities from interpreting drawings to reporting findings. Qualifications include an Associates' Degree in Aviation/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and NAS410/EN4179 Level II certification; minimum 3 years’ experience in setting up and conducting tests.

Qualifications

• Associates' Degree in Aviation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience utilizing testing equipment including maintenance and calibration of said equipment
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in setting up and conducting tests on parts and materials

Responsibilities

• Perform a large diversity of NDT inspections (ET, UT and PT) across A220 and A320 programs.
• Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings as required
• Perform and/ or support the development of NDT inspection techniques for complex geometries and confined spaces.
• Assist in training and developing others within the team.
• Prepare the inspection reports, mappings and documents related to the inspection record.
• Contribute to internal Quality Gates and KPI tracking to drive improvements
