Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC ("ATS") is seeking NDT Level II/CWI/API technicians for our San Diego, CA office. This is a field-focused role with opportunities for part-time call-out and permanent positions, with travel across SoCal up to Oakland/SF.

Gamma Radiography experience is required; IRRSP certification or state radiographer card is preferred. Must provide supporting certs and documentation, and pass a drug screen with a valid driver's license.

Summary: ATS is seeking NDT experienced NDT Level II (4 methods) and/or CWI and/or API Techs to support our San Diego, CA office. This position is open to experienced Level II NDT Techs, CWI and API Inspectors.
Multiple/Additional certs preferred. Must be local to San Diego County, CA or willing to relocate. These are Part time call out and also Permanent positions with benefits for permanent hires and a pay range of $25 to $45+ per hour based on experience and certs held. Travel includes SoCal up to Oakland/SF area.
Gamma Radiography experience is required. At a minimum, candidates should also possess an IRRSP certification and/or a state radiographer card.

Work Conditions

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
