Job summary

Component Repair Technologies in Mentor, OH, offers an NDT Level I Processor role to train in non-destructive testing disciplines through an on-the-job training program and NAS410 certification.

Under Level II inspectors and a Level III supervisor, you will prepare and process turbine engine components in a modern, climate-controlled facility, gaining hands-on skills and credentials through our extensive internal program.

Qualifications

• High school or technical school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions including shop drawings.
• Experience with overhead cranes.
• Ability to interpret and pass skill tests in other trades.
• Familiarity with measuring gauges and basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Complete the on-the-job training program and NAS410 certification.
• Learn industry standards and regulations, materials processed, multiple methods of processing, safety policies, proper documentation and communication.
• Process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization according to work instructions.
• Prepare parts before or after inspection per work instructions.
• Part processing includes fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI).
• Conduct system performance checks per applicable process standards.
• Receive guidance from Level II or Level III when necessary.
