Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Huntsville, AL seeks a qualified NDT Level II Leak Testing technician specializing in Helium Mass Spectrometer Testing. The technician will perform, interpret, evaluate, and document leak testing examinations in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and company written practices.

Additional experience in pressure change, bubble, and halogen leak testing methods is preferred.

Qualifications

• NDT Level II LT certification per employer practice per SNT-TC-1A/NAS 410/CP-189.
• Hands-on helium leak detection systems, vacuum tech, and leak-rate measurement.
• Ability to read and interpret codes, standards, drawings, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate helium MS leak testing equipment.
• Perform leak testing using vacuum, hood, and sniffer methods.
• Verify instrument sensitivity with certified leak standards.
• Detect, localize, and quantify leak rates per acceptance criteria.
• Prepare examination reports with calibration data and test parameters.
• Provide technical direction to Level I personnel.
• Maintain compliance with company practices and standards.
