Job summary

PROtect, LLC seeks a mobile NDT technician to perform mechanical integrity inspections at ethanol facilities in Peoria, IL. You will apply multiple NDT methods, assess defects, and document results for facilities across the Midwest.

The role requires travel (3 weeks on projects, 1 week off) with six 10-hour shifts per week and per diem on travel days. A valid driver’s license and API/industry familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• NDT methods – expertise in multiple techniques.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on vessels, piping and tanks.
• Calibrate or operate NDT equipment and select appropriate methods.
• Identify defects using approved testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and reporting in a timely manner.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain a safe driving record.
• Maintain safety standards and coach others on site.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
