Blue Origin seeks an experienced NDT Engineer Level III to lead ultrasonic inspection of composite flight hardware, including payload adapters and fairings, and to drive UT, IRT, and DR efforts across New Glenn and lunar programs. The role includes planning, technique development, and mentoring junior inspectors.

Based at Space Coast, FL, with travel up to 25% for test campaigns and supplier support; requires ASNT Level II/III in UT and strong knowledge of NAS 410 standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, physics, or related field.
• 6+ years NDT experience with UT, IR, and DR methods.

Mansioni

• Perform UT inspection of composite flight hardware (PA and PAUT) end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Provide IRT and DR inspection support to complement UT inspections.
• Interpret inspection data and disposition defects; support CAPA and root cause analyses.
• Develop inspection plans, procedures, and reference standards for new components.
