Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in mechanical inspection preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in film auditing for non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Proven experience in conducting mechanical inspections in facility or industrial settings.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and relevant codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high safety standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with inspection tools, testing equipment, and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of mechanical systems to identify issues, defects, or non-compliance.
• Review blueprints, manuals, and documentation to understand design specifications and requirements.
• Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems to assess performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with facility managers, maintenance personnel, and contractors for repairs or replacements.
• Ensure installations, repairs, and modifications comply with codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
