Job summary

Acuren is seeking Entry Level NDT Assistant to support operations in Kuttawa, KY. This will be a callout/travel position, with on-site work and potential project assignments.

You will help set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment, assist radiographers in calibration, perform tests to detect defects, and record inspection results. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college and technical background are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background preferred.
• Background check and screens per client requirements.
• Must be able to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other tasks.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
