Job summary

Acuren is seeking NDT Assistants in Corpus Christi, Texas to support on-site inspection operations. You will help calibrate and operate nondestructive testing equipment, assist Radiographers, and record inspection results in accordance with written instructions.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, some college preferred, and be willing to meet safety and credential requirements such as 40-hour radiation training and relevant state cards.

• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.

NDT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: We are currently seeking candidates who are based in or near Corpus Christi, TX | South, TX While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local candidates due to the on-site requirements of the positions.

Requirements

• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training preferred (40RAD)
• State Card(Industrial Radiographer State card preferred, not required
• IRRSP card preferred
