Job description

Position Description: Every year, North Dakota 4-H hosts around 400 youth for camp from across North Dakota. With this comes opportunities with medications, first aid and general camp health. We are seeking a part-time position of a camp nurse to assist on check-in days and throughout the camping week.

Position Duration: May 27 through August 8 (camping season is May 27 - June 14 and July 27 - August 7)

Location: North Dakota 4-H Camp is 40 miles north of Bismarck located near Washburn, ND (halfway between the Lewis and Clark Interpretative Center and Fort Mandan).

Salary: $26.00 per hour (approximately 20 hours a week)

Position Duties:

  • Organization of camper prescription medication
  • Assistance with management of health regulations
  • On-call/on-sight to aid in camper health questions and health emergencies
