Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Certified NDE Level II Technician (PT and VT) for the Fort Payne plant. The role involves in-process and final inspections to drawing standards, with documentation of all findings.

You will train colleagues in VT, PT, UT, and PAUT and participate in continuous improvement, safety, and reporting activities. The position requires 2+ years NDE experience, Level II certification for PT and VT, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years NDE experience and Level II certification for PT and VT.
• Provide objective hours and certification letter/documentation.
• Must meet Siemens Energy Level II certification requirements by testing and exams.
• Experience with gauging, drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDE inspections on Large Generator Components to drawings and specs.
• Document findings accurately in electronic systems.
• Train other technicians in VT, PT, UT, and PAUT to Level II.
• Communicate results clearly in reports and diagrams.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
