Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Certified NDE Level II Technician (PT and VT) for a 2nd shift role at the Fort Payne facility. The candidate will perform in-process and final NDE inspections to drawings and SOPs, documenting findings in electronic systems.

Overtime and shift changes may be required for training or production needs. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of NDE experience, Level II in PT and VT, and be able to meet certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Certified NDE Level II with PT and VT capabilities.
• Minimum 2 years NDE experience.
• Must meet Siemens Energy Level II certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide NDE testing on Large Generator Components.
• Document findings and results in electronic systems.
• Train colleagues on VT, PT, UT, PAUT to certify/recertify as Level II.
• Support improvements and preventive actions via root cause analysis.
• Maintain safe work practices and report safety concerns.
