Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an Inspector to perform quality inspections on steam and generator components, at the factory or on site as needed. You will conduct hardness testing with Equotip, operate a Faro Arm and bore scope, take dimensional measurements, and document I&T Plans and QC records.

Strong communication and procedure adherence are essential. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of technical experience with power-generating equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of technical experience with power-generating equipment (steam and/or gas turbines).

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety training and ensures personal safety and that of co-workers.
• Performs inspection on steam and stationary components.
• Performs inspection on generator rotors and components.
• Gathers and documents I&T Plans; tracks to completion.
• Releases product for shipping; inspects received parts.
