Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Madison, PA is seeking an experienced NDE Level III Inservice Inspection Examiner to conduct Steam Generator and Heat Exchanger non-destructive exams according to written procedures, interpret results, and report to the Manager of NDE Programs. This mobile on-site role is based at Waltz Mill facility with travel as needed.

You will lead mentoring for Trainees, Level I and II, develop procedures, participate in training and safety programs, operate field service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Significant experience performing NDE on nuclear or non-nuclear plants according to NDE Level III standards; Level II professionals pursuing Level III are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret standards, codes, and procedures for customer and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and refine inspection techniques and procedures for nuclear and non-nuclear industries.
• Lead mentoring for Trainees, Level I and II to strengthen NDE personnel.
• Support field project preparation with procedures and examination plans.
• Participate in training programs to acquire and maintain certifications; stay current with technology.
• Operate field service equipment at customer sites, including NDE technology and associated systems.
• Ensure all tasks meet quality standards and document issues.
• Promote teamwork and maintain unescorted access status at Nuclear Power Plants.
