The role involves conducting NDE inspections using techniques such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiography while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NDE Level II Certification in multiple techniques and possess excellent communication skills to convey technical information.

Qualifications

• Valid NDE Level II Certification in two or more techniques: ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, radiography.
• Excellent knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM standards for non-destructive testing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDE inspections using various techniques.
• Create reports based on inspection findings.

Role Description

This is a Full-time on-site position for a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Inspectorlocatedin Bolingbrook, IL.Work location is a combination of on-site andtravel.The NDE Inspector willbe responsible forconducting a wide range of NDE inspections such as ultrasonic, magneticparticle, liquidpenetrant, and radiography testing on various components of industrial plants, equipment, and systems. The NDE Inspector will alsobe responsible forcreating reports based on inspection findings, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met, and collaborating with other team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid NDE Level II Certification in two or more of the following techniques: ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and/or radiography testing. Phased Array (PAUT)/Shearwave/Straightbeama plus
• Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM,pertaining tovarious forms of non-destructive testing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Excellent communication skills toclearly and effectively communicate technical informationto both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proof of classroom and OJT hours
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
