MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking NDE Assistants for the Alaska site. The position requires completion of a 40-hour Radiation Safety Course and supports NDT Level II/III personnel.

Work will follow a rotating hitch of 21 days on/21 days off or 14 days on/14 days off, with daily 12-hour shifts on the North Slope of Alaska. POSITION SUMMARY:

Mistras Alaska is searching for NDE Assistants. The candidate shall have at minimum a 40-hour radiation safety course completed. The NDE Assistant will assist NDT level II and III’s. The work schedule will be a rotational hitch of 21 days on, followed by 21 days off or 14 days on followed by 14 days off. Daily work shifts will be 12 hours located on the North Slope of Alaska.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 40-hour Radiation Safety Course.

• NDT training and OJT for different methods (UT, RT, PT, MT, VT) per ASNT SNT-TC-1A is preferred but not required.

• Current IRRSP or state card is preferred but not required.

• Current level I or higher Rope Access certification IRATA or willingness to obtain.

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must be able to routinely lift up to 75 lbs.

• Must be able to tolerate working in extreme climates (subzero temperatures) for extended periods of time.

• Must be comfortable working in cramped or confined spaces.
