Job summary

Txhealthcare seeks a qualified X-ray Technician for our Orthopedic Hand Surgeon’s Office in the Fort Worth Hospital District. You will perform radiography, assist with procedures, and support clinic operations.

Applicants should hold an NCT or LMRT with at least six months of recent experience and be proficient with NextGen EHR. The role includes rooming, vitals, scheduling, pre-certifications and charting in NextGen.

Qualifications

• Certified X-ray technician with NCT or LMRT certification and at least 6 months of recent experience.
• Proficiency with NextGen EHR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations for patients.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Clean and stock exam rooms.
• Room patients and support clinical workflow.
• Take patient vitals.
• Schedule appointments.
• Process medication refills.
• Handle pre-certifications.
• Document in EHR and chart accordingly.
• Perform other clinical duties as needed.
