Unitek Learning is seeking an NCLEX Success Specialist who can support nursing students across our Bakersfield and Ontario campuses. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on NCLEX preparation, licensure outcomes, and collaboration with ATI and nursing leadership to drive student success.

The position requires an RN with an active license and a Master’s degree in nursing (terminal degree preferred). Travel up to 50% is expected as campuses are supported.

• Experience with online teaching via a Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and participate in campus onboarding and ongoing faculty development for ATI/NCSBN tools.
• Monitor data using PowerBI dashboards and develop follow-up plans for exams.
• Collaborate with Nursing Administration and Corporate Licensure on NCLEX tracking.
• Coordinate ATI interventions, review sessions, and exam readiness activities.
• Support up to 50% travel; operate on-site at Bakersfield and Ontario campuses.

Provide direct support for assigned state-based BSN | MPEN | VNPN campus nursing students throughout and after the nursing program supporting retention and progression of students, and in preparation for taking the NCLEX exam following graduation.

Job responsibilities:

Ensures licensure initiatives are implemented consistently across VNPN and RN programs, aligning data‑driven NCLEX preparation with student needs.

Ensure students are engaged with standardized licensure programs and aligned with departmental key performance indicators (KPI).

Participates in operations, planning and execution of new student orientation at start of student lifecycle, and again, prior to core nursing courses.

Attends, leads and participates in weekly At-Risk meetings to identify at-risk students and assists with exam preparation.

Leads and guides NSS ATI roles initiatives including scheduling: ATI live review, VATI, Capstone, test taking seminar.

Real-time monitoring and analysis of PowerBI Performance Dashboard and collaboration with faculty and campus leadership to develop follow-up plans for the following exam data: ATI Comprehensive Predictor benchmarks, Capstone exams, Practice Assessments, and other exams as deemed necessary per the curriculum.

Leads reconciling official NCLEX results to official BON results and performs deep dive analysis of students who were unsuccessful on the NCLEX examination.

Collaborates with the campus Nursing Administration in the analysis of the NCSBN Mountain Measures report and developing plans for improvement.

In collaboration with the Corporate Licensure team, Campus Academic Leaders, and faculty, NSS will track, implement and document academic support and resources for students from beginning to end of program.

Collaborates with campus Nursing Administration on NCLEX Tracking through students, instructors, and the state board of nursing website.

Mentor, guide, and support student ATI Champion representatives in providing peer mentorship. And guidance to their fellow students with ATI's best practices and resources.

Assists site staff and online didactic faculty with coordinating and enforcing policies and procedures related to ATI CMS exams and NCLEX Success.

With collaboration from campus Dean or Directors, oversees and guides new faculty to ATI Champion completion within 60 days of hire date.

In collaboration with the campus, the Nursing Administration assists onboarding by supporting new faculty with training and resources to the integration of ATI products.

Plans In-services and Professional Development related to test taking, test writing, NCLEX, NGN preparation and success, etc.

Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position.
This role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.

Registered Nurse with current and unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure

Master’s degree in nursing required; Terminal Degree in Nursing (PhD, DNP, EdD,) preferred.

Minimum of one year of previous NCLEX experience or two years of academic teaching experience

Experience that demonstrates: Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor and coach students; effective communication skills, both verbal and written; pre-licensure nursing online teaching experience required utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS).

Familiarity with distance technologies Microsoft Teams to connect with students and faculty in the online space.
