Job summary

Standard Constructors, Inc. seeks a Pile Driver Crane Operator to manage pile driving on major civil projects. The role requires NCCCO certification (LBC and/or Telescopic Boom), operating lattice boom or crawler cranes, and adhering to strict safety practices on heavy industrial foundations and bridges.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5+ years of crane operation experience on pile driving.
• NCCCO certification with LBC and/or Telescopic Boom.
• Current OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
• Rigging and signalperson certification preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of crane load charts, soil conditions, and pile driving dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety codes at all times.
• Safely operate crawler or lattice boom cranes with hydraulic, vibratory, diesel, or impact hammers and piling leads.
• Rig, hoist, and maneuver heavy pilings and equipment into leads with precision.
• Drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of structures.
• Monitor load charts, ground stability, dynamic loads, and clearances from overhead utilities.
• Confer with project supervisor on job specifications.
• Read and interpret load charts, lift plans, and project specs to drive piles to exact locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-operational crane inspections and basic troubleshooting.
• Report malfunctions and assist other craft workers as needed.
