Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking NCCCO-certified Crane Operators for Maintenance positions in the Port Arthur, TX area. The role operates various power-driven machinery to move dirt or materials, following hand signals and load charts. CDL is required, along with rigging color-code knowledge and a post-offer drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NCCCO certification required (Large and Small).
• CDL required.
• Knowledge of current rigging inspection color codes.
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operates power-driven machinery used to move dirt or other materials.
• Interpret hand signals and load charts for material placement.
• May assemble/disassemble equipment or move on un-level surfaces.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure rigging inspection/color code compliance.
