Job summary

State Utility Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our heavy civil construction team.

The successful candidate must be NCCCO certified and have proven experience operating 65-ton to 150-ton cranes, including rough terrain and crawler-type units, in outdoor construction environments. You will inspect the crane and worksite daily, safely hoist and transport materials, follow hand signals, and coordinate with field crews to complete lifting operations while adhering to

Qualifications

NCCCO Crane Operator Certification required.
Experience operating 65-150 ton cranes, rough terrain and crawler types preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and construction conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect the crane and worksite prior to daily operation.
Safely operate cranes in the 65-150 ton capacity range.
Hoist and transport machinery, equipment, concrete, piping, and other materials.
Fly 3-cubic-yard concrete buckets to crews on walls and elevated decks.
Receive and respond to standard crane hand signals.
Monitor equipment for safety, defects, and mechanical issues.
Perform required daily and monthly crane inspections.
Work with field crews, foremen, and superintendents to safely complete lifts.
Follow all safety requirements.
