Position: NCCCO Certified Friction Crane Operator

We are seeking an NCCCO Certified Friction Crane Operator with OSHA certification for an industrial marine construction project in the Butner, NC area. The successful candidate will operate a barge-mounted Linkbelt 238 lattice boom friction crane and assist divers with critical lifts, including sluice gate removals, cofferdam installations and removals, and tremie pours. Responsibilities also include formwork and rebar installations, crane inspections, daily maintenance, swinging steel, lifting beams, hook work, equipment lifts, and pile driving.

Must have thorough knowledge of crane hand signals, be able to read load charts, and effectively communicate with the ground crew. A pre-employment drug test and background screening are required.

Details:
  • Pay rate: up to $40/hr
  • Duration: 8+ months
  • Per diem: None (local position)
  • Hours: 50 hours/week
