Job summary

Zachry Group in Texas is seeking an experienced Industrial Heavy Equipment Operator to operate cranes to move heavy equipment between locations, including different elevations. You will plan lifts, inspect gear, and ensure safety compliance on site.

Required are NCCCO/CCCO credentials for the crane type, 5+ years of crane operating experience, and a valid DOT physical with reliable transportation. You may need a valid driver’s license and to meet physical demands.

Qualifications

• Must hold CCCO certification for the crane type in use.
• 5+ years of crane operator experience is required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and pass a DOT physical.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Must provide required tools and have reliable transportation.
• Willing to follow safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate various construction cranes to move equipment and materials.
• Plan operational lifts and assess load requirements.
• Inspect equipment before use and ensure safety.
• Follow signal directions from signalers as needed.
• Ensure area safety and prepare operations accordingly.
• Complete inspection paperwork and related administrative tasks.
