Job summary

Stevenson University is seeking an Assistant Coach, Softball to support a highly competitive NCAA Division III program in Towson, MD. You will assist in coaching, recruitment, and academic oversight while coordinating practices, travel, and events within athletics.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with collegiate coaching experience, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Travel with the team is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus collegiate coaching experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with good driving record; insurable.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of NCAA DIII softball rules and regulations.
• Ability to recruit and monitor student-athlete academics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of a competitive NCAA Softball program.
• Work with head coach and volunteer assistants on coaching strategies.
• Lead recruitment and supervision of student assistants; manage scheduling and budget.
• Coordinate team travel, meals, equipment, and communications with staff.
• Travel with the team and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
