Job summary

Mars Hill University is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Lacrosse program. The successful candidate must show a strong commitment to academic success and assist with daily operations, practice planning, and on- and off-campus recruiting to build quality student-athletes.

You will participate in fundraising, film review, game-day duties, scheduling, travel logistics, and community engagement while ensuring compliance with MHU, SAC, and NCAA rules, reporting to the Head Coach and Director

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and successful coaching background in Men’s Lacrosse.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage and develop a Men’s Lacrosse program.

Responsibilities

Assist with essential daily tasks vital for running the program.
Recruit quality prospective student-athletes on and off campus.
Plan and assist in fundraising activities.
Assist with practice planning and implementation.
Handle game-day responsibilities as directed by Head Coach.
Organize and participate in community engagement activities.
Monitor academic status and progress of student-athletes.
Film review and preparation of scouting reports as directed by Head Coach.
Assist in developing and monitoring an effective strength and conditioning program.
Assist Head Coach with social media accounts and promote the program.
