Job summary

PE Systems, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a Journeyman Systems Engineer to support NC3 programs. You will apply systems engineering methods, provide expert management advisory, and ensure system security and interoperability across platforms.

The role requires a Secret clearance, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to travel to various facilities as needed; a BA/MA degree with 3–10 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MA Degree, OR BA Degree and 3-10 years of experience related to the position requirements.
• Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be able to transport self to various facility

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods sufficient to extend or modify theories, concepts, and assumptions.
• Resolve unique or novel problems which may require significantly altering standard practices, equipment, devices, processes, and known techniques.
• Provide expert advice to professional colleagues and/or agency officials responsible for broad program operations.
• Apply and support digital engineering concepts and MBSE throughout the program lifecycle.
• Evaluate the value and applicability of new or improved technology, strategies, trends, and applications.
• Investigate, predict, and anticipate issues and conditions extending beyond a single specialty area and affecting known standards.
