Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory is seeking an NC3 Systems Engineer and Analyst to support nuclear command and control systems. This dynamic role involves working closely with the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment, providing technical leadership and contributing to the development of mission success strategies.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of five years' experience in command and control systems, and strong communication skills. An active Top Secret security clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physical science, or relevant technical field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in command and control systems for nuclear platforms.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with senior leaders.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment.
  • Provide technical contributions in the acquisition and sustainment of NC3 systems.
  • Evaluate operational performance deficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct assessments on existing and new data sets.
