Job summary

Decore is seeking a reliable full-time truck driver for a day shift at our on-site Monroe, NC location. You will operate heavy tractor-trailer combinations, load and unload cargo, and accurately document activity logs.

Applicants must hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), have prior truck driving experience, and be capable of handling a physically demanding workload while maintaining safety. You will report incidents to dispatch and perform routine pre/post-trip inspections.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CDL and prior truck driving experience.
• Able to perform physical work and maintain safety.
• Capable of loading/unloading and documenting logs accurately.

Job description

You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Essential Functions:

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
• Load and unload cargo
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Commercial driver's license
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

Constant standing, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds.
