Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring for NC START Assistant Director, Eastern NC. This hybrid role combines office and remote work to lead a team serving individuals with IDD and mental health needs in START.

You will supervise clinical and paraprofessional staff, monitor referrals, manage budgets, and ensure appropriate care transitions while maintaining open communication across the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human service field or related area.
• 1+ year of full-time experience with mental health/IDD populations.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary team leader supporting individuals with IDD and Mental Health challenges enrolled in START.
• Coordinates and monitors the referrals and waitlist for START.
• Provides clinical or administrative supervision to all employees under your supervision.
• Assist the Regional Director in ensuring appropriate transitions to other levels of care.
• Support leadership and promote alignment with site objectives and strategies.
• Monitor interventions and ensure required contacts outside the facility.

Relies on extensive expertise, knowledge, experience, and judgment to supervise the clinical operations of a unit or a region.NC START Assistant Director, Eastern NC, office and remote work combinationSalary: $75,000.00/AnnuallyEducation:Master’s degree in human service Field & 1+ years’ full-time experience with population served.Supervisory experienceDefinitions:Human Service Degrees Include: Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or other Human Service Degrees.Populations Served Include: Mental Health-Child & Adult, IDD Child & AdultJob Responsibilities:Serve as the primary team leader supporting individuals with IDD and Mental Health challenges enrolled in START.Coordinates and monitors the referrals and waitlist for START.Works closely with other paraprofessional and clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback and, standardize procedures.Provides clinical or administrative supervision to all employees under your supervision.Assists the Regional Director in ensuring that whenever necessary the appropriate transition to another level/type of care for the person supported is sought after appropriate staffing with the Regional Clinical CoordinatorAssists the Regional Director in providing leadership to employees by promoting harmony among co-workers and clearly reinforcing company and site office objectives and strategiesMonitors and ensures interventions are performed face-to-face outside the facility, and that each person supported receives required number of contacts per service definitionActively participates in financial maintenance, budget monitoring, and budget creation and plans of corrective action to improve unit performance and meet targetsAssists in the resolution of complaints/issuers and serves as role model employees, visitors, the general public and individuals being servesExcellent communicator and listener with strong therapeutic skills who works well as part of an interdisciplinary team and runs open and productive therapy sessions.Excels at behavioral interviewing techniques to uncover service user needs and be able to anticipate these needs.Pre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
