Job summary

Choice Translating in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a fully bilingual Spanish Sign Language Interpreter (LSE) for on-site and VRI assignments. This freelance, contracted role welcomes motivated student (high school) or licensed interpreters in NC or other states.

You will interpret in real-time, maintain confidentiality, and work with HIPAA-compliant ethics. The schedule is flexible, with on-site and video options; punctual, professional performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual, fluent in LSE and English.
• Must have (or must obtain) a valid NC Interpreter license.
• Technologically proficient (familiar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher).
• Clean driving record, valid driver's insurance, and reliable transportation.
