Job summary

TechDoQuest is seeking a skilled professional to develop and maintain NC programs for DMU machines in San Diego, California. You will be responsible for optimizing machining operations and collaborating with manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in NC programming and experience with precision machining. Familiarity with Siemens controls and aerospace machining is preferred. This position is onsite and requires troubleshooting skills.

Role Summary

• Develop and maintain NC programs for DMU machines using Siemens-based programming environments to support precision aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and optimize NC programs for machining operations; interpret engineering drawings, tooling requirements, and process plans;
• support setup, prove-out, and shop floor issue resolution; improve program efficiency and machining performance;
• coordinate with manufacturing engineers, machinists, and quality teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong NC programming background in precision machining; experience with DMU equipment and Siemens controls/programming environment; ability to troubleshoot machining issues and support production execution.

Preferred

• Aerospace machining experience, knowledge of tooling/fixture considerations, and familiarity with NX or related CAM environments.
