Job summary

CDS in Fayetteville, NC seeks an NC PreK Lead Teacher to plan and deliver age-appropriate NC PreK lessons, maintain a safe classroom, and support children’s development in health, social-emotional, cognitive and creative areas.

You will monitor progress toward School Readiness Goals, document growth, and communicate with families while upholding health protocols and collaborating with staff for inclusive education.

Your Role as anNC Pre-KLead Teacher:

You willbe responsible fordesigning and executing learning experiences that encompass a broad range of developmental areas including physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression. Moreover,you'llconduct regular assessments tomonitorthe children's progress towards School Readiness Goals, tailoring the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with disabilities. Upholding health and safety protocols is paramount in your role, ensuring a secure and clean environment by adhering to strict procedures for hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision. Pay and benefits

Pay: 30,000-50,000/annually Follows State guided NC PreK Teacher salary based on years of experience and WORKS level education credential

You Might Be the Perfect Fit if You:

• Are at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a minimum of one year's experience in preschool teaching. Additionally, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree and be actively pursuing either NC Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) or Preschool Add-on Standard Professional II licensure. Your qualifications must include one of the following: an NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License, a North Carolina K-6 license with a provisional Preschool Add-on license, a license from another state accompanied by an NC Provisional B-K license, or a degree in a related field that qualifies you for an NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License.
