Choice Translating, Inc. seeks on-site, video remote and over-the-phone interpreters to join our trusted team serving the community in Charlotte, NC and beyond.

Fully bilingual in Pashto and English, you will interpret in real time, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to on-site, VRI, or OPI assignments with professionalism and accuracy. You can manage a flexible schedule and provide services across formats, while upholding HIPAA and our Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in Pashto and English.
• Tech proficient with common video conferencing tools.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher) and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken communication in real time across on-site, video, and phone formats.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and interpreter Code of Ethics.
• Manage own flexible schedule and accept appointments as needed.
• Provide services on-site, via video (VRI), or by phone (OPI).
• Be punctual and committed to high-quality work.

About the Role

Are you passionate about helping your community? We need your help! Choice Translating is seeking on‑site (OSI), video remote (VRI), and over‑the‑phone (OPI) contractor interpreters for multiple languages to join our team of talented linguists.

Location

• Based in Charlotte, NC for on‑site interpreting
• Open to interpreters in North Carolina or other states for VRI/OPI opportunities

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual, fluent in Pashto and English
• Technologically proficient (familiar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher)
• Clean driving record, valid driver’s insurance, and reliable transportation
