Job summary

Choice Translating is seeking on-site Nepali-English interpreters in Charlotte, NC for contractor opportunities (OSI, VRI, and OPI). Based in Charlotte, you can connect with interpreters in NC or beyond for VRI/OPI roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and the interpreter Code of Ethics.
• Manage your own flexible schedule and accept appointments as needed.
• Provide services on-site, via video (VRI), or by phone (OPI).
• Be punctual, professional, and committed to high-quality work.

Location

• Based in Charlotte, NC, for on-site interpreting
• Open to interpreters in North Carolina or other states for VRI/OPI opportunities

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual, fluent in Nepali and English
• Technologically proficient (familiar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher)
• Clean driving record, valid driver’s insurance, and reliable transportation
