Job summary

Decore in Monroe, NC is seeking a full-time machine operator to efficiently run equipment and produce parts per drawings and instructions. You will set and operate programs, read tickets, perform visual inspections with measuring tapes, and ensure correct materials are prepared for scheduled orders, while following safety rules.

The role requires reading English instructions, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use and read a tape measure.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient operation of the machine to produce parts in accordance to customer drawings, internal sketches and/or other forms of instructions.
• Capable to set and operate programs and machinery
• Must be able to follow instructions and able to read production tickets

• Obtain knowledge of door styles, sizes, tolerances and conversion from millimeters to inches.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Supports Safety and good housekeeping in maintaining a safe work place environment.
• Performs other related duties as required

Job Type:Full-time, Day Shift

Physical Requirements:
