Job summary

HonorVet Technologies in Durham, NC seeks a Senior Integration Engineer to design, implement, and oversee MuleSoft-based data interfaces and API/ETL solutions. Qualifications

Summary:

Client requires the services of a Senior Integration Engineer to administer, design, implement, and oversee the integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The client seeks a highly technical resources to serve as a Data Integration, API and ETL developer for creating real-time, on-demand, batch and scheduled data interfaces and processing between systems and applications, both internal and external.

Job Description:

This Integration/Interface engineer position must be very well organized and able to manage multiple business, technical, and validation efforts. The candidate must have experience in solutioning from both a technical and functional perspective and must be able to understand and help clarify client requirements, design, and build the solution leveraging multiple resources/teams utilizing Salesforce and other platforms. The engineer must participate in exploring business needs, architectural analysis, development, testing, production support, and system maintenance.
Duties include requirements gathering, designing, and implementing solutions, and supporting go-live and post-implementation. The Integration/Interface engineer position has responsibility for providing hands-on development, design, implementation, and support of business solutions based on MuleSoft technology. Must have experience in MuleSoft architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, and integration best practices.
In addition to MuleSoft experience (a must have skill), preference would be for candidates with experience in designing and developing integration solutions using IIB/ACE or Boomi.

Required Skills:

• Experience in data modeling, OLAP design, and implementation of APIs and ETL processes, procedures, and execution for data cleansing, and refreshes.
• 7 Years Strong understanding and knowledge of data formats JSON, XML, Flat Files (CSV, Fixed-Width).
• 2 Years Experience with integration via web-services, API and ETL management.
• 5 Years Experience leveraging common frameworks such as message queuing, caching, complex mapping, branching, and parallel processing.
• 7 Years Hands-on experience building integration patterns; processes; managing, deploying and supporting API's.
• 7 Years Administering experience in Mule ESB Middleware including experience in Cloud configurations and installations for multiple environments.
• 2 Years MuleSoft experience integrating with Salesforce applications including solid understanding of available Mule Connectors (Standard/Custom).
• 3 Years Configuring APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and API analytics based on technical specifications with MuleSoft API manager.
• 5 Years Proficiency in scripting languages e.g., Groovy, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Bash, JSON, etc.

Highly Desired:

• 2 Years Hands on design, development and implementation experience with IBM IIB/AC
• 5 Years Experience with AWS cloud platform
