Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in Greensboro, NC seeks a qualified physician for inpatient cardiology locum tenens coverage. Expected responsibilities include Q5 call coverage with 30-minute response, average 5 patients per shift, and involvement in invasive cardiology procedures such as cardiac cath, angioplasty, and stent placement.

Required: STEMI management, IABP and PA catheter placement; pacemaker experience preferred. Travel and housing expenses are paid, and malpractice insurance is prepaid.

Qualifications

• Inpatient cardiology setting experience required.
• Invasive cardiology procedures required and preferred.
• STEMI management and rapid response skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Call coverage on a rotating schedule (every 5th day).
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes.
• Manage an average of 5 patients per shift with bedside procedures as needed.
