Job summary

Decore in Monroe, NC is seeking a diligent Door Assembler to follow tickets and work with hand tools on assembled panels. You will review tickets, dry-fit doors, and assemble using staples, pins or nails, ensuring squareness and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, English literacy, and ability to work in a diverse team. On-site, full-time 1st shift; benefits include 401(k), health, life, PTO, vision.

Responsibilities

• Review work ticket and drawings to ensure instructions and specs are met.
• Dry fits test door from order to ensure specs are met.
• Assemble doors using staples, pins, nails per ticket specification.
• Checks doors for squareness and accuracy.
• Performs quality checks on doors.
• Place door on conveyor for inspection.
• Keep area clean and organized.
• Other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

Physical Requirements:

Repetitive handling, grasping, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods.
