Synchron, LLC is seeking an Engineer to provide engineering management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. You will assist Team Sub in the development and procurement of high technology weapons and defensive systems.

You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine’s PMS 404 Undersea Weapons program office. Responsibilities include supporting the LWT team, drafting correspondence and technical documents, coordinating with

Competenze

Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering or engineering management.
STEM degree required.
Experience with MS Teams and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of Navy budget processes.
Active DOD Secret clearance required.
Ability to independently prioritize tasks.

Mansioni

Provide support to PMS 404 Lightweight Torpedo (LWT) team in the engineering of new weapons systems.
Draft and route correspondence and technical documents relating to engineering projects.
Facilitate communications between warfare centers, the program office, and the tech warrant holders.
Coordinate with other program offices as necessary to accomplish programmatic goals.
Provide direct support for planning and execution of all LWT engineering related program reviews and Milestones.
