Job summary

SYNCHRON, LLC seeks an Engineer to provide engineering management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

You will contribute to development and procurement of high-technology weapons and defense systems, and directly support PMS 404 Undersea Weapons program office. The role involves coordinating with warfare centers and program offices, drafting technical documents, and guiding milestone reviews.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in engineering / engineering management fields.
• STEM degree
• Experience with MS Teams and MS Office Suite
• Knowledge and understanding of Navy Budget
• Required clearance level - Active DOD Secret clearance
• Capable of performing tasking without constant reminders; ability to recognize and complete adjacent tasking without direction

You will assist Team Sub in the development and procurement of high technology weapons and defensive systems. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and help provide the US Navy with cutting edge undersea warfare technology. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine's PMS 404 Undersea Weapons program office.

Desired Experience

• 5 years of experience in engineering / engineering management fields
• Prior military service or direct operational support for the Navy's submarine, surface or air communities
• Prior experience working in a Navy weapons program office
• Able to independently prioritize work tasks and functions

Work Location

Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard. Telework options for 1-2 days per week after all initial onboarding and team integration is completed (estimated 2-4 months).
