Job summary

KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Navy Qualified Validator / Cyber Technician to support RMF assessments at the Washington Navy Yard. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, RMF/A&A experience, and data entry into eMASS to document vulnerabilities and mitigations.

You will develop RMF artifacts, validate control implementations, and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53A. Telework is limited; on-site duties and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• DoD RMF experience and security framework knowledge.
• NQV certification and DoD cybersecurity familiarity.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for all levels.
• Experience with eMASS and RMF artifacts development.
• Security control assessment and risk documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document risk and security controls in eMASS.
• Enter and populate eMASS data; recommend corrections.
• Complete RMF artifacts (SSP, SAP, SAR) and security assessments.
• Apply NIST SP 800-53A controls to Assess Only systems.
• Ensure traceability from findings to POA&M.
• Support continuous monitoring activities.
