The Naval Array Technical Support Center (NATSC) at Leidos in Newport, RI, seeks a QA Engineering Technician II to support Navy towed sonar array work. You will assist the Receiving Department, perform data entry, and inspect materials against government drawings and specs, under the QA Manager.

A DOD secret clearance (Interim Secret to start) is required, with MS Office proficiency expected. This role emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, attention to detail, and cross-department communication

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• High school/vocational diploma or GED or technical diploma.
• 2+ years experience with computer/network based inventory management and job tracking systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret clearance (minimum Interim Secret to start).
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
• Capable of paying attention to detail and communicating effectively with all departments and customers.

Responsabilités

• Quality Assurance Receiving Department assistance.
• Perform data entry using online database systems and maintain records.
• Evaluate/inspect work per Government work instructions, drawings, specifications, ECPs and guidance.
• Perform receipt inspections under the guidance of the Receiving Inspector and general inspections as needed.
