Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks an experienced administrative professional to support senior Navy program managers at the Washington Navy Yard. This role focuses on executive‑level correspondence, memo writing, and process optimization in a large, complex program office.

You will work four days per week on-site in Washington, DC, with a competitive compensation package including base salary and variable pay opportunities. A DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of executive‑level support experience.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and analytical skills; Navy correspondence expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.
• Current DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support senior PAE Mission Systems Program Managers.
• Handle serial log management, memo writing, routing and tracking correspondence.
• Implement office policies and procedures and analyze workflows.
• Formulate process‑improvement recommendations for a large Navy Program Office.
• Work four days per week from the Washington Navy Yard office.

Overview

Comprising over 125 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise in program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), as well as clients in PEO Ships, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR).

Responsibilities

In this role, you will support senior PAE Mission Systems Program Managers. Responsibilities will include serial log management, memo writing, routing and tracking correspondence, implementing office and organizational administrative policies and procedures; analyzing processes and workflows, and formulating process improvement recommendations to ensure a smooth operation of a large and complex Navy Program Office office. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years experience in executive level support
• Demonstrated expertise with Navy Correspondence and srong administrative, organizational and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications
• Current DoD SECRET clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting a Navy acquisition program office
• Experience with and knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes
