Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support the Navy’s acquisition program from the Washington Navy Yard area. Hybrid work arrangements apply, with occasional travel.

You will design, build, and refine Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse solutions in a Microsoft 365 environment to enhance data visibility and decision making for naval applications. The role requires DoD security clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in software development or CS, plus at least 2 years

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and/or Dataverse.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Solution Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Power Platform solutions to automate processes, improve data visibility, and enhance decision‑making capabilities.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Integration & Customization: Integrate and customize SharePoint Online and related M365 products, focusing on Power Apps and Power Automate to extend functionality and streamline workflows.
• Workflow Automation: Design, develop, and implement automated workflows utilizing Power Automate.
• Dataverse Proficiency: Design and implement solutions leveraging Dataverse, SharePoint lists, as data sources and connectors for Power Platform applications.
• Reporting & Analytics: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, SharePoint Online, and Power Apps to provide actionable insights.
• Training & Support: Develop and deliver end-user training materials and provide comprehensive technical support.
• Documentation & Iteration: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all developed solutions, with a commitment to continuous review and iterative improvement of knowledge management resources and tools.
• Collaboration & Independence: Effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and manage individual tasks effectively.
• Data Integration: Create and manage Power BI dataflows and semantic models to allow for Power BI report creation and use.
