Job summary
Valkyrie Enterprises seeks an Instructional Design Specialist to design, develop, revise, and sustain U.S. Navy technical curriculum and JQRs supporting NAMTS maintenance pathways.
You will work with Navy SMEs, Regional Maintenance Centers, and NAMTS leadership to ensure training products are accurate, measurable, and traceable to approved requirements. The role demands ISD expertise, adult learning principles, and strong technical writing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in ISD/education or related field with 4+ years Navy training experience.
- Experience designing Navy technical curriculum and JQRs.
- Strong ISD, adult learning, and assessment development abilities.
- Ability to translate technical material into measurable learning objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain Navy technical curriculum and JQRs.
- Conduct front-end and task analyses for Navy maintenance tasks.
- Translate requirements into measurable objectives and assessment criteria.
- Develop lesson plans, guides, exams, and performance assessments.
- Facilitate working groups with Navy SMEs and leadership.
- Maintain traceability across requirements and instructional content.
