Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Virginia Beach seeks a Learning Standards Analyst to transform technology into actionable training solutions for the U.S. Navy.

You will design instructional approaches, develop interactive courseware, and work with SMEs to ensure accuracy and alignment with Navy standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of experience with Navy curriculum development, and a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience developing group-paced instructional materials for Surface Combat Systems per Navy standards.
  • Experience advising SMEs on development procedures and evaluating curricula documents.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meet training requirements.
  • Assist in SME workshops to identify and validate job duties and tasks and learning objectives.
  • Support Training Situation Analysis and Front-End Analysis to identify training gaps.
  • Develop instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meet training needs.
  • Provide feedback and tracking of item completion; conduct training analysis and review safety plans.
  • Interact with customers and SMEs to ensure technical accuracy of content.
