Job summary

SAIC is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support the US Navy CDT and DCOI programs, performing system engineering, requirements gathering, integration, and architecture across Navy enclave technologies.

Responsibilities include RMF/ STIG compliance, patch management, site surveys, Sensor2 installations, and sustainment. Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+) certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with LINUX and Splunk.
• Experience with Virtualization and Containerization (VMware, Kubernetes).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II, CompTIA Security+ and OS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support production integration, requirements gathering, system engineering, design and architecture.
• Modify, implement, and integrate solution sets with Navy enclave technologies; interoperability testing and production process improvement.
• Support RMF Assessment and Authorization tasks, ensuring compliance with STIGs and Navy guidance.
• Perform site surveys and installation support for Sensor2 systems; ensure readiness and installation at designated locations.
• Provide patch management testing in lab and production environments, with documentation and troubleshooting.
• Provide sustainment and troubleshooting support.
